i went out into the boonies today to take pictures. i call this a success. i am going to miss digital photography when it ends. :(

photography is becoming more of a career path than a hobby for me.

sometimes a fight is better black and white....

so in my digital photography class, we are learning about black and white photography and i am very excited about it. i find that black and white photography holds more emotion than colored photos do. sure, some may think it is less interesting, but i think it is more. black and white photography gets you to think and really captures the essence of what the image is all about. it allows you, as the viewer, to see what the photographer's reasons and message behind the picture is. its beautiful.

so i am taking black and white pictures tomorrow at school. wish me luck! i will definitely post them tomorrow night. :)

voluntary bookworm.

my ring finally came so thats good. i love it to death. still haven't gotten a chance to take any pictures, but i think i could take some if i gave myself the time instead of becoming a bookworm. hopefully i will get to take some this week at school. that would be lovely. i want to go downtown at some point, the graffiti wall is legit. i want to go to seattle too. i feel like my favorite pictures would appear if i went there because seattle is my favorite place in the entire world.
